Mr. Green

Mr. Green has been teaching science since 2003. He graduated from Idaho State University in December 2002 with a Bachelors degree in secondary education and biology. He taught in Nampa, ID for several years before returning to southeast Idaho in 2006. While teaching earth science at Rigby Junior High, Mr. Green earned a Masters degree in earth science from Mississippi State University in 2010.
He currently teaches physical science, geology, and astronomy in the high school. He is also the advisor for the Rigby Rockets group that participates in national competitions. Anyone is welcome to attend the club and can contact Mr. Green for more information.
Mr. Green enjoys teaching students about how things work and how students can see those things every day. The best part about his job is that fact that he gets to learn along with the students.
Mr. Green enjoys spending time outdoors hiking, hunting, camping or just relaxing. If he isn't outside he is probably working on one of the many tech gadgets he has. He loves technology and implementing it into his teaching. He also has recently become involved in high power rocketry and has earned his Level 1 Certification for high power rockets. He is working on obtaining the level 2 certification this summer!
